MervynDG POat part 1:
I don’t want to enter into this comment ping-pong game, amusing as it is, but would rather extend the debate. I tried low carb/high fat but it wasn’t for me or I wasn’t ‘in the zone’. However I am now succeeding in spades with low carb AND low fat.

MervynDG Post part 2:
Now I know this is bizarre as it must be harder on food choices but the fact is I don’t spend the day constantly feeling (tasting) as if I have fat instead of saliva rolling around in my mouth. It seems we’re agreed that carbs are the issue and whether or not fat plays a significant part is a moot point.

MervynDG Post part 3:
13 pounds in 13 days; not hungry (albeit a little bored as it is a challenge (but not impossible) to find tasty alternatives); no adverse side effects; loads of energy (?) probably due to motivation as a result of the result.
Now low fat doesn’t mean no meat, it means lean red meat (fillet steaks, chicken [no skin], turkey, lean ham, burgers from lean low fat beef [great sandwiched in a large mushroom 'bun]).

@orgamikrikit This may sound knit-picky but just to inform….Neandertals and cromagnons(modern humans) existed at the same time. They are two different branches of the human tree. There were possibly other branches that also existed at the same time as both of these. Neandertals simply died out(or were assimilated) leaving only the modern humans around 30,000 years ago.
That bit aside, I agree that humans evolved based on a diet high in meat, eggs, fruits, nuts and veggies.
September 1st, 2011 on 2:15 pm
@orgamikrikit
Neanderthals were not the predecessor of homo sapiens. I agree we evolved eating lean meat as the preferred food source.

Could you be emotionally detached at work and not know it? Sure, if you’re detached. There’s a party in your head and you’re not invited. slapCompany

Good talk. As you mention, I have heard this before and believe it to be true. No matter where you turn it’s always about the money. And they will lie, cheat and steal for it at the cost of caring less who they hurt.
This is a very true point.

i dropped 70 lbs on atkins and stupified my doctor also. he has gone to atkins himself and lost a pile of weight.

@occulture eating the fattest meats you could forces your liver to get good at metabolizing fats, especially on a low-carb diet. Fact is, eating carbs all the time makes your liver/bile/pancreas lazy, and the metabolic pathways for fatty acid metabolism are poor = little or no fat burnt.
who woulda thought that if you can condition your body to be a fat burning machine, you will burn not only the fat you eat, but the fat you carry around… doughey!

@MannySteinerBIeeky Good call. I feel there is some disinformation surrounding early humans eating cooked meat. sun dried meat may have been the first adulteration/preservation of meat.. like pemmican.
Still, the work of Aajonus Vonderplanitz is too enticing to glaze over because of a raw food stigma. I’m a raw foodist, certainly. But fermentation of our food.. well… there it is again. I’m still trying to “replicate the rumen”
lol at the food pyramid, and the ‘my plate’ – lets make our own?

@randomlarpingman – no I wouldn’t. Not unless I’m missing something and your death would mean the opposite of the likes of all sheeple noise-polluters etc dying or becoming physically incapable & without means or property immediately & permanently.
September 1st, 2011 on 6:59 pm
@MannySteinerBIeeky Yeah, problem is that would very likely kill me. Though I guess you wouldn’t exactly consider that to be a problem.
September 1st, 2011 on 7:06 pm
@randomlarpingman – yeah maybe change your diet might be a good idea, eat orgone instead of dead-orgone…
September 1st, 2011 on 7:12 pm
@MannySteinerBIeeky Oh ok.
September 1st, 2011 on 7:48 pm
@randomlarpingman – I don’t think that’s a well-known fact at all, how can height have anything to do with superiority. That’s just silly, it’s brain-power and overall ability & character that determines superiority.
September 1st, 2011 on 8:31 pm
@MannySteinerBIeeky I honestly have no idea. I don’t even like Jodie Foster
I think the gay jewish cowboy thing was a reference to my bigjimw10 persona. Also it’s a well-known fact people of average height are superior to short people.
September 1st, 2011 on 9:25 pm
@occulture – why did your fatfuck liar comment from a week ago just re-appear in my inbox or on display here now again anyway?
September 1st, 2011 on 9:27 pm
@randomlarpingman – how about your thelaughingarborist & prarliedogged clone channels / personas? why only be embarrassed about the markgubbish one, given those two for example are just as stupid and evil as the mark one?
September 1st, 2011 on 9:43 pm
@occulture – you haven’t, quite obviously. You’re saying you have cause you’re a liar. You may even be so full of shit that you took a bunch of diet pills etc and pretended to have lost the weight from eating junk and high-fat food, probably in exchange for some lifetime’s supply of fatfuck junk food and weight-loss pills from some drug-pushers masquerading as medicine suppliers.
The reason you had 135 lbs of fat was cause you ate fatty sugary foods.
September 1st, 2011 on 10:30 pm
@msieweke – btw just to remind you ‘sugar’ – you actually claimed here that drinking a half litre of water puts more strain on the heart than eating some saturated fatty foods. So since when did your kidneys and nephron tubes etc connect to your heart in such a way that cleansing those could put a strain on your heart?
September 1st, 2011 on 11:21 pm
@msieweke – I’m not allergic to mayo idiot. It’s known to induce heart-attacks if a lot of it consumed, for someone like me who doesn’t even eat fried food etc, I can obviously tell right away how toxic something like that can be.
You’re a liar, like most phoney health promoters. Your kind make real aetheric sciences difficult to get accepted by academia because they lump them in with your quackery.
September 1st, 2011 on 11:31 pm
@MannySteinerBIeeky When I was on a high-carb diet, the blood sugar highs and lows would cause irritability, major mood swings, and a bit of paranoia. Does that sound like anyone you know?
September 2nd, 2011 on 12:19 am
@msieweke – what’s your conspiracies next fake fad diet going to turn out to be? Actually contracting AIDS as a means to rapid weight loss?
September 2nd, 2011 on 12:22 am
@MannySteinerBIeeky Eating saturated fat is a great way to lose weight, as long as you limit your carbs. This is recommended by Drs. Eades and Eades (Protein Power), Dr. Atkins (many books), Dr. Lutz (Life Without Bread), and Fallon/Enig,PhD. (Eat Fat Lose Fat). Drs. Eades, Atkins, and Lutz have helped thousands lose weight on high-fat diets with lots of saturated fat. They helped me, too. Current research shows these diets are healthy and effective ways to lose weight and improve health.
